Description
This inaugural Erin Popovich Honorary lecture will focus on the role of the Doctor and Patient in disease state education as well as oxygen therapy. It will address the complexities of these questions from the standpoint of the health care professional and the patient with a case-based and evidence based perspective. In addition, we will bring the insight of a patient with regards to the difficult nature of getting information and adequate choices in oxygen therapy. The session will close with an overview of the Oxygen Toolkit that was designed by the CHEST Foundation to assist patients and providers with oxygen therapy.
